Description
The Director of Project Management will supervise and manage large global
projects for Phase II and Phase III clinical trials. The incumbent should be
able to manage large full service projects. Some specific responsibilities
may include relationship management of assigned clients, recommend course of
action regarding client management issues and implementation of improvement
plans as well as providing financial review and oversight for clients to
meet company realization targets and ensure quality of deliverables. The
Director will also provide consultation regarding the drug development
process and strategy. May serve as team member on operation or steering
committees with strategic partners and may have line management
responsibilities.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in a life sciences or related field
- 12 years of clinical research experience
- 7 years of project management experience
- Professional Project Management Accreditation is a plus
- Travel will be required for this position
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality
and timeline metrics
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Good team leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
